MAKE UP & HAIR TRAINING
CERTIFIED AND ACCREDITED BRIDAL/NON BRIDAL MAKE UP TRAINING
Although I specialise in Asian bridal make up, this course covers all bridal and non bridal make up.
This is a 1-1 session and is suited to both complete beginners as well as those who would like to brush up their skills. I will focus on the areas you would like to improve or learn and guide you through a step by step process but also tailor the course to what you want to learn. So if you've always wanted to learn the art of make up or maybe just become more confident in applying it on others this course is for you.
The course initially starts with a theory section which is done online through The Beauty Guild. Once you have completed the theory a date is arranged for you to attend the studio to carry out the practical day. The practical day is in a relaxed environment and I will make you feel at ease if you've never done anything like this before.
During the practical session we will go through a complete make up look on a model from blending eyeshadow, contouring, colour palettes and creating some popular looks to working through specific techniques and creating that flawless look that will last all day whether its for a bridal or a party make up look.
You are welcome to bring your make up kit along to the session however i will have my professional kit there for us to use. During the session you will be able to take notes and photos however video recording is prohibited. Please also note that this is a 1-1 session so you will not be able to bring anyone along with you. I will have a model ready for the practical day.
During the session I will also go through products and tools needed for your professional kit. By the end of the training you will be confident to create some amazing hair and make up looks to move your make up business to another level.
If you would like to go ahead with the training you will first need to be enrolled with The Beauty Guild as a student. There is a £25 fee which is payable directly to the Beauty Guild. You will then be given all the details to complete your theory work which is all done online at your own pace. The theory for this course covers functions of the skin, skin types, muscle, bones of the face. It also includes preparation, aftercare, facial cleanse techniques, contra-indications and counter-indications.
Once you have completed that you can then continue onto your practical session with me.
Please note once the course is completed you will be able to download and print your certificate and will be fully certified and accredited and will be able to gain insurance and also be able to apply for most beauty trade discounts too.
There is a £100 deposit required to book onto the training which is taken off the total on the practical day.

HAIR TRAINING - CERTIFIED AND ACCREDITED BRIDAL/NON BRIDAL
This course has been designed to give you all the skills and knowledge to become a professional hair stylist. It covers a range of different hair styles and offers valuable advice and tips for you to build your own career. Theory is delivered online which means you can work at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home. The practical training is taught in one day by myself at the studio. The practical session can be tailored to suit what you need to learn. We can focus on styles that you would like to learn.
Hairstyles can be complex so I first start off with how to create a base for most popular hairstyles and then work from there. You can select the particular hairstyles you'd like to learn too. I will also go through ways of working with thin hair or how to work with really thick hair too. During the training you will become confident in how to apply hair extensions and padding to create certain hairstyles.
You will first need to be enrolled on The Beauty Guild as a student (£25 fee) and sent all the details online to complete your theory work which is all done online at your own pace. The theory work includes Anatomy and Physiology of the hair, face shapes, preparation and tools and styling kit, contra-indications and contra-actions.
Once you have completed that you can then come to me for the practical session where I guide you through a workshop.
This is a 1-1 session. For the practical day I will use a dummy head to teach some basic but popular hairstyles and then we will move on to some more complex hairstyles. You will learn different ways of adding padding and hair pieces to create the most wonderful party and wedding hairstyles even if clients have thin or short hair. I will teach you how to make your own padding but also recommend products and tools required to achieve amazing hairstyles.
On the practical day all the equipment and tools will be provided. Please note you may take notes and photos but no video recording is allowed.
A deposit of £100 is required to book the course and this is taken off the total on the day of the practical session.
This course is accredited by The Beauty Guild. You will receive a certificate of completion which will enable you to gain insurance with any provider. You will also be able to apply for beauty trade discounts.

SELF APPLICATION OF MAKE UP 1-1 SESSION
Would you prefer to have a make up session in person 1-1. With this package you can learn how to apply makeup on yourself and with my guidance create a look you desire. You can ask questions and take notes during the process. It may be that you want to learn a subtle everyday look focussing on techniques of applying the make up or we can create a more glam look and work on that. Whichever you prefer I will talk you through a step by step process and you are welcome to take notes to refer back to. The step by step process will help you feel more comfortable and confident in areas that you might want to improve.
I will talk you through which brushes to use and make up techniques and also help find the colours and shades that suit you best. Whether its eyeshadow blending, covering dark circles or blemishes, applying eyelashes on yourself or contouring that you struggle with we can focus on what you'd like to learn.
You can bring along your own make up and brushes or use mine. I can also advise you on what products and colours I think will compliment you. You can learn some tips and tricks that help save time and money with make up products.
After this session you'll feel more comfortable applying your own make up either for an everyday look or that special event.

All these trainings involve online theory to complete and then a practical exam. Once you have booked your training course and paid the enrolment and theory fee of £25, you will be able complete the theory modules straight away. Once you have completed the theory modules, a practical session code will be displayed on the final module which you can pass on to me so I can book you in for a practical assessment. The practical session will be held at the Beauty Studio.

This course will teach you about the technique, products and tools used to provide a professional Lash Lift and Tint treatment and includes a practical training session and assessment.
Solution is used to lift the lashes from the roots giving them a curl which lasts upto 6 weeks and tint applied to darken them.
